The club's senior teams were in National Athletics League action at Chelmsford on 7th May.  The women's and the men's teams both finished sixth out of eight teams, with the combined result being seventh.  Chelmsford made the most of home advantage to win the match.  Our home match at Bedford is on 4th June.

The fifth round of this season's Chiltern League took place at Shuttleworth on Saturday 19th February.  There was a win for Jack Goodwin in the Senior Men's race, with John Eves ninth and James Minter tenth.  Alex Alston was the second M20, and Charlie Palmer the top M40.  Isaac Raddan came eighth in the U13 boys race.  Millie Dunger won the Under 15 girls race, with Lyla Danobrega third, and Lily Farr ninth.  We won the Senior Men's team race, and the Under 15 Girls team race, and came third in the Under 15 and Under 13 boys team races.  Sadly, the Senior Women's race, and the Under 17 Men's race were both cancelled.

Congratulations to Gracie Wall, who claimed silver in the Under 17 Women's High Jump (1.64m), and also to Etienne Maughan (U20) who improved her own U20 and Senior Women's 60m Hurdles club indoor best to 8.69 seconds whilst finishing 4th in the England Athletic U20 Indoor Championships at the weekend.  

Well done to Jack Goodwin and Harry Brodie, who both set 5k road PBs at Battersea on Friday 11th February.  in a high quality field, Jack finished 16th in 14:09, whilst Harry came 36th in 14:23.  Sam Knee Robinson finished 136th in 15:19, and Rebecca Murray came 11th in the Senior Women's race in 16:23.

Well done to Jessica Frost (U17), who competed in the U13/U15/U17 London Indoor Games at Lee Valley on 29th January.  Jess won her 60m race in a new PB of 8.49 seconds, and also set PBs in the Long Jump (4.59m) and the Shot Put (8.12m).  Gracie Wall won the U17 High Jump with 1.67m.
