It is with great sadness that the club has has to report that long-serving club member, Ursula Duckworth, passed away two weeks ago.

Ursula was in her mid-eighties, and had been in a care home in Northampton for a couple of years.  She ran the Ladies Vets team for many years, getting a full team out on many ocassions, and although mainly a road runner still holds at least 11 club age group records on the track in the higher age groups.  Her first husband was Keith Duckworth of Cosworth racing engines fame, and for many years Ursula drove a distinctive Ford Escort/Focus Cosworth (reportedly very fast!).  Ursula will be sorely missed by all at the club who knew her.
